Autism Awareness Day
April 2nd is World Autism Awareness Day.
The United Nations General Assembly declared April 2 as World Autism Awareness Day on December 18, 2007.
All countries of the world, including Georgia, unanimously joined the initiative. The purpose of celebrating World Autism Day is to increase the level of public awareness regarding autism. Also to promote the protection and realization of the rights of people with autism.
